The ‘Boilerhouse Crew’ is a Virtual Jazzband created by ‘MidNiteSun’ in 1995Project Plan :-Experiment with rhythms and arrangements on various well known jazz pieces.Use standard piano copy song sheets to get the basic music and lyric data.Create arrangements that include structure and harmony.Try different timing variations within each piece.Make each arrangement unique.Use an Atari Computer loaded with ‘Notator’ sequencing software.Create MIDI files as backing tracks.Record the harmony vocals live with the MIDI playback.Use various ‘effects processors’ programmable from each MIDI file during the audio production.
